See the Oldest Mummies in the World and stunning Natural Landscapes

Full-Day Tour
1. We will start by visiting St. Mark’s Cathedral, which was designed and built in France by the renowned architect, Gustave Eiffel. It was shipped to Arica and assembled here in 1876.
2. Afterwards, we will stop at the top of the “Morro of Arica”, which has spectacular views of the coastline, the city and the Azapa Valley.
3. We will then go to the “Arts and Crafts Village”, where you will have the opportunity to see a replica of a church from the highlands and buy beautiful, handmade crafts made by local people.
4. Next, we’ll see some beautiful Geoglyphs (rock art) from the pre-Hispanic era.
5. Then, we’ll drive to the renowned San Miguel Archaeological Museum in the Azapa Valley, where you will get a good look at the oldest mummies in the world. Ticket included.
6. This will be followed by a visit to an Organic Farm/Oasis where you will be able to buy a delicious meal made with local produce. This place also includes a relaxation area with hammocks and a swimming pool. You will get the chance to see colorful hummingbirds and a variety of other animals.
7. Afterwards, we’ll drive through the desert to the Lluta Valley, where you’ll see the glorious contrast between the lush, green, fertile valley and the arid mountains above, as well as impressive giant Geoglyphs. There will also be the chance to buy a fresh fruit juice or a typical Chilean dessert at a rural restaurant, which has live alpacas and ostriches!
8. Finally, on the way back we’ll stop at the Mouth of the Lluta River. These unique wetlands provide shelter, rest, and feeding for various species of shorebirds migrating along the Pacific coast.
On this tour you won’t be rushed to get from place to place; you’ll be given time to relax and enjoy each location and soak in each of the sights without being hurried.

4. Then, we’ll drive to the famous San Miguel Archaeological Museum in the Azapa Valley, where you will get a good look at the oldest mummies in the world.
5. Subsequently, we will head to the “Hummingbird Sanctuary”, a private garden which is open to the public, where there are two beautiful species of hummingbird in their natural habitat.
6. Finally, on the way back we’ll stop at the “Arts and Crafts Village”, where you will have the opportunity to see a replica of a church from the highlands and buy beautiful, handmade crafts made by local people. You will also be able to buy something to eat or drink here.
